Popular Services

Superior Spreading has relationships in place with suppliers to assist you access to the product you require.

Lime

Lime is a naturally occurring mineral. It is crushed (pulverised) and used in agriculture to change physical or chemical aspects of the soil, making it a better medium for plant growth.
When soils are so acidic that plant growth suffers, liming materials are applied to improve soil
fertility.

Gypsum

Gypsum is the common name of hydrated calcium sulfate, which has the chemical formula
CaSO4.2H2O.
Gypsum is mainly used as a soil ameliorant to improve the structure of sodic and magnesic soils.
Gypsum may also be used, at lower rates, as:
• a sulfur fertiliser;
• a calcium fertiliser.

Super

Superphosphate is a fertiliser produced by the action of concentrated sulphuric acid on powdered phosphate rock.

Phosphorus (P) is frequently a limiting nutrient to the growth of pasture. Generally, soils in Australia are depleted to weathering and erosion. Agriculture removes phosphorus from the soil in the products

Urea

Urea, at 46% nitrogen (N), is the most concentrated solid nitrogen fertiliser. This means there is less to freight and handle. It is also one of the most economical nitrogen fertilisers. These factors have seen urea become the world’s most popular nitrogen fertiliser.

Dry Manure

Manures contribute to the fertility of the soil by adding organic matter and nutrients, such as nitrogen, that are utilised by bacteria, fungi and other organisms in the soil.

Slug Baits

Slugs are a major pest that regularly damage emerging and seedling canola, fodder rape, pasture legumes and to a lesser extent cereal crops and pulses.  The consequences and costs of slugs and damage or the potential to cause damage are, re-sowing, costs of baits and baiting (multiple applications), burning of stubble and cultivation.
